Built around clinic hours

Your time is the scarce thing. The panel is designed around it.

You set the frequency

Choose how many invitations a week, and quiet hours when we never send one.

Only your specialty

We match on the profile you complete once, instead of sending everyone a screener.

Partial pay on screen outs

If a study turns out not to fit after the opening questions, you are still paid for your time.

Phone first

Every survey works on a phone and saves progress, so you can stop and pick it up later.

Book your own slot

Interviews and boards come with a calendar. Pick a slot before, between or after clinics.

One tap to decline

"Not for me" closes the invitation. It never lowers your future invitations.

Compliance and ethics

Research, never promotion

The questions professionals ask before taking part in industry funded research, answered plainly.

Patients and carers

The other half of the conversation

Clinicians tell researchers what they prescribe. Patients and carers tell them what it is like to live with it. Both are needed, so patients and carers have their own membership.

Questions

What professionals ask before they register

How do you verify healthcare professionals?

You give us your registration or licence number and we check it once against the public register in your country, such as NPI in the United States, the GMC or NMC in the United Kingdom, or the National Medical Commission and state councils in India. We never ask you to upload your licence certificate. If anyone claiming to be HealthChorus asks for documents or a fee, it is not us.

How much do healthcare professionals earn?

It depends on the study type, length, your specialty and your country. As a guide, physicians earn USD 50 to 150 for an online survey and USD 400 to 700 for a 90 minute advisory board. The exact fee is on every invitation, before you accept.

How often will I be invited?

As often as you choose. Set a weekly maximum and quiet hours in your account. Most specialists see a few invitations a month, and declining never affects future invitations.

Is this promotional or a sales activity?

No. HealthChorus runs market research only, under the ESOMAR code, which separates research from promotion. No one will pitch you a product, ask for a prescribing commitment or follow up with a sales call because you took part.

Will my identity be shared with the company funding the research?

No. Clients receive de-identified answers. Your name, contact details and registration number stay with HealthChorus and are never sold. Interview recordings need your separate consent.

What if I mention a side effect during a study?

If a study concerns a marketed medicine or device and you describe a possible adverse event, we are obliged to pass it to the manufacturer's safety team. The invitation tells you in advance when a study carries that duty. See adverse event reporting.

Are honoraria taxable?

Usually yes, and declaring them is your responsibility. In the United States we collect a W-9 or W-8BEN and issue a 1099-NEC above the annual threshold. Other countries have their own rules, set out in the payment terms.

Can patients and carers join?

Yes. Patients and carers have their own membership with points, cash for paid surveys and instant pay for qualifying studies. Use the switch at the top of this page, or join as a patient or carer.

Can I leave the panel?

Yes, at any time from your account settings. We pay anything owed and delete or anonymise your data in line with the privacy policy.

Four minutes to register. Invitations only when they fit.

Free, verified once, and you can pause or leave whenever you want.
